Team Management Services now offers workshop content that is registered with the NZTE subsidised Management Capability Development Voucher Fund.

Small businesses may qualify for vouchers to help pay for up to 50% of the cost of services such as training workshops, courses and coaching that build the capabilities of their owners and key managers.

Management Capability Development Vouchers are only available through the Regional Business Partner Network (RBP) Growth Advisors. Vouchers may be provided to a business where the Growth Advisors have identified a need for management training as part of an action plan to support the business owner to grow and innovate.

  1. How to lead a winning team

    Description

    This is a workshop of about 4 hours duration that can be facilitated virtually by Zoom.
    The workshop objectives and outcomes are as follows:

    • To develop each individual's understanding of their own work preferences
    • For any participants to develop an appreciation of the strengths and work preferences of each other
    • To understand the strengths and the weaknesses associated with different work styles
    • For participants to investigate ways to optimise their communications and interactions with others
    • For team members to develop their understanding of where they should prioritise their efforts to achieve the best outcomes in their role
    • To start to consider where the opportunities exist for further team development within a team or organisation

    A quorum of 6 participants registering is required.

  2. Individual Executive or Leadership "one on one" Coaching

    Description

    One on one coaching with an independent advisor. The workshop is structured over 3 – 4 sessions with some offline work undertaken by participants between each. Engagements of this nature will typically be initiated using Skype or Zoom technology.
    Objectives and outcomes are as below:

    • To develop an individual’s understanding of their own work preferences
    • To consider ways to optimise their communications and interactions with others
    • To develop an understanding of the traits and behaviours that underpin successful Leadership
    • To identify any blind spots and development areas relative to their Leadership
    • For participants to create a personal Leadership Development action plan
    • Includes a 6 month accountability check with the coach

  3. Introduction to Leadership workshop

    Description

    This workshop is of about 5 hours duration and can be facilitated virtually by Zoom. The workshop is structured in the form of 2x 2 hour sessions with some offline work undertaken by participants thought the middle of the day. Central to this workshop is the development of the participants understanding of the behaviours that are necessary to drive effective leadership. Best suited for new and emerging leaders, managers and supervisors.
    Workshop objectives and outcomes are as below:

    • For the team to develop their understanding of the traits and behaviours that underpin successful Leadership
    • For team members to develop their knowledge of Emotional Intelligence and how that underpins effective Leadership
    • For team members to identify development areas of interest relative to Leadership
    • For participants to create a personal Leadership Development action plan

  4. Optimising your appetite for change in a post pandemic world

    Description

    This workshop is of about 5 hours duration that can be facilitated virtually by. The workshop is structured in the form of 2x 2 hour sessions with some offline work undertaken by participants through the middle of the day.
    Workshop objectives and outcomes are as below:

    • To access some frameworks and models that will support with the management of change
    • To explore and understand the phases of a transformation
    • For each individual to explore their own inclination towards seeing obstacles or opportunities and appetite for dealing with risk or change

  5. Strategy Development Workshop

    Description

    1 day Strategy Development workshop

    This is a facilitated 1 day workshop designed to support an organisation in developing a realistic future picture, and identify the high level barriers and imperatives that will need to be addressed to realise the desired outcome. A facilitator guides the Executive team, using a tried and tested process to support them as they brainstorm and refine organisational specific content such that a high level Strategic plan can be identified.
    Workshop objectives and outcomes are as below:

    • Identify a high level Future Picture for the organisation (typically this will be of a 3 year horizon).
    • Identify the any challenges or barriers that might exist to achieving that Future Picture
    • Identify strengths and enablers that can be leveraged to achieve the Future Picture
    • Secure clarity around the specific Strategic Drivers or Imperatives that we need to be focussed upon in order to achieve our Future picture
    • Brainstorm a set of projects that the organisation will need to address in the next 12 months to start working towards our 3 year Future Picture
